I have a model that works perfectly fine,
physics are fine
except for this one problem that almost all of my models have because I'm an idiot
but this one problem wouldn't cause MMD to crash.

I'm getting REALLY annoyed having to ask for help all the damn time

point is, I have a problem, and I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it.
I think part of it is the amount of invisible bones that are just damn near everywhere, but whenever I try to delete them and test the model, one of those 8,000 invisible bones happened to be attached to the skirt, shirt, or hair.

It makes no sense and I am so peeved and at a loss for what to do,

Any amount of help is greatly appreciated! ;-; I'm sorry I keep having to ask for help but my PMX is literally the most glitched out thing
currently working with someone who offered to help!

It's best to keep track of your bones, to know what they do and why.  It's harder when you get to the point that you have 8000 of them.  Really, you probably don't want to release a model that's full of unnecessary bones anyways.

There are a few things that are good to do when deleting bones.  One is to be in weight display mode in PMXE so that when you select a bone, you can verify that nothing's weighted to it.  Another good thing is to swing it around a bit in the transform window and make sure that it doesn't have any children or rigid bodies that are dependent on it, which you should able to just eyeball by rotating it some.  But it's really got to be done bone by bone.

I find it's worth my time to translate all my bones to English.  It's a nice thing to do so that anyone downloading, who doesn't read Japanese, can see what a bone is supposed to do when they select it, and they can see with a glance at the display panel what kinds of things the model is capable of.  While translating, it would also be a great time to take a careful inventory of my skeleton and make sure I know what everything's doing.

I know you have a couple offers already.  If they fall through, feel free to send a link to a model and a pic showing off the problem.  I don't think I've seen an MMD model problem that I haven't been able to figure out a fix for yet.  Of course, there can always be a first time....
